With both male and female lead vocals in the band, they are able to easily switch songs around and keep things fresh, and therefore cover a very broad range of styles, thereby catering for everyone in the crowd while keeping the dance floor full at all times!
Young Ones started life as a Wham! tribute band, and since then have grown into a major force on the professional music scene, regularly supporting famous acts like The Lightning Seeds, Ocean Colour Scene, Bjorn Again, and Radio One’s Mark Goodier. They have also more recently worked with Victoria Wood and performed for Johnny Vegas, Una Stubbs, Sir Derek Jacobi, and Shane Ritchie.
Young Ones offer a lively evening of compelling live entertainment for hire. With attention to detail, combined with first class musicianship and state of the art equipment, Young Ones have earned an envious reputation as being one of the few live bands around to accurately recreate the dynamic sounds of those earlier eras. They have a great song repertoire, as can be seen below, and with their flexibility in lead vocals, always make the evening a night to remember. A great wedding and corporate function band!
